Nick Hodder is a stand-up comedian, speaker, writer and technologist. In 2022 he was named one of the top 100 most influential IT Leaders in Computing. Nick regularly talks about technology as a comedian and public speaker. In the comedy world his combination of one-liners and eccentric stage manner lead him to the final of the New Act of The Year awards in 2014. Nick also writes for short films and radio. In 2005 Nick produced a short film ‘Gloves’, which won the BBC Big Screen Best Comedy Award, and was praised for its humour by judge, BBC Radio Five film critic, Mark Kermode. Nick was also one of the winners of the BBC New Talent ‘Funny Hunt’ competition in the same year. Nick authored the comedy section of the Writer’s Handbook in 2010 and speaks about technology at events all over the world.
